HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS
STEP 1 – HEAT BATTLES

All athletes start in Qualification Heats consisting of approximately 10–25 athletes. Men and women compete in separate heats. Each heat uses a mass-start format.

Your official finish time determines your ranking and your qualification for the National Showdown.

Every second counts.

STEP 2 – NATIONAL SHOWDOWN

The fastest athletes advance to the National Showdown, which takes place later on the same event day.

Qualification is determined as follows:

  • All Qualification Heat winners automatically qualify.
  • Additional places are awarded to the fastest athletes across all heats.

The National Showdown determines the official event winners and rankings.

The top 12 women and top 12 men qualify for the International Final in Bangkok on October 18, 2026.

STEP 3 – INTERNATIONAL FINAL

The top 12 women and top 12 men from each National Event qualify for the International Final in Bangkok.

This is your opportunity to:

  • Represent your event country
  • Compete against the best athletes from across Southeast Asia
  • Become the first-ever Red Bull PowerRace International Champion

Help your team win the first-ever Red Bull PowerRace Mixed Team Championship.
